Happy Earth Day! To mark this day we would like to draw your attention to an insightful and informative interview with Julie Reiss on her edited volume ‘Art Theory and Practice in the Anthropocene’ in which contributions (among which is her own chapter) explore the role of art in the ongoing environmental crisis.

The interview, which can be found here, was carried out by the Graduate Center at the City University of New York. In it, Dr Reiss discusses her decision to work on a book on art in the Anthropocene and the conclusions she has drawn from her research on this subject, as well as the current global COVID-19 situation.
