Franco Zappettini is Senior Lecturer and Director of Postgraduate Research in Communication and Media at the University of Liverpool, UK. His research focuses on the textual/discursive analysis of different forms of political and organizational communication, including the mediatization of Brexit, which he has published internationally in peer-reviewed journals. His publications include a monograph on European Identities in Discourse (Bloomsbury 2019), a volume on Brexit as a social and political crisis, co-edited with Professor Michał Krzyżanowski, (Routledge 2021) and the monograph Brexit: A Critical Discursive Analysis (Palgrave, forthcoming).
