Human Rights and Social Concerns

"Human Rights and Social Concerns" provides concrete examples of the complex interplay between human rights principles and the various social actors involved. At a time when governments increasingly decouple themselves from human rights commitments, this book helps us to better understand the consequences of such actions and identifies possible roads that lead forward. To retreat is to guarantee a repeat of the worst calamities in modern history.
