Journal Reviews: A Roundup of 2020 and 2021 Reviews
This month we are bringing our VP community a roundup of reviews that were published in 2020 and in the first quarter of 2021. We are pleased to announce that the titles reviewed in various academic journals, across a variety of fields in the Social Sciences and Humanities, were received positively. Cosmopolitan Ambassadors: International Exhibitions, Cultural Diplomacy and the Polycentral Museum (2019), published by Vernon Press and written by Lee Davidson (Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand) and Leticia Pérez-Castellanos (Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia, Mexico has been awarded the 2020 Miguel Covarrubias Prize to the best research work. Vernon Press authors awarded research prizes
The #StopCorruption Association met on December 17, 2019 to reward the work of researchers and students on the subject of fighting against corruption. We are pleased to announce that Sophia Wickberg, from the Centre d’Études Européennes et de Politique Comparée, was awarded the research prize for her chapter on the fluctuating boundaries of the concept of corruption. The chapter, called “Political Corruption in a World in Transition: The Fluctuating Boundaries of Corruption,” is included in the volume edited by Jonathan Mendilow and Éric Phélippeau Political Corruption in a World in Transition (October 2019).
