The Road to Parnassus: Longlisted for the 2016 William M.B. Berger Prize for British Art History
We are delighted to announce that Diego Mantoan's The Road to Parnassus: Artist Strategies in Contemporary Art (Vernon Press 2015), has been longlisted for the 2016 William M.B. Berger Prize for British Art History.
The prize celebrates outstanding contributions to the history of British art and is administered by The British Art Journal, the leading research journal, and awarded jointly with the Berger Collection Educational Trust of Denver, Colorado. Since its inception in 2001, the Berger Prize has come to be recognized as the most prestigious in the field. Selected by an esteemed panel, The Road to Parnassus is one of few books by a non-British author to make this year's longlist. The selection is another mark of distinction for Dr Mantoan's remarkable work. Our heartfelt congratulations!
