On Power: Neurophilosophical Foundations and Policy Implications - Review

Congratulations to Nayef R. F. Al-Rodhan, who has received a positive review from Craig Turp-Balazs, editor of Emerging Europe.

The review deemed Al-Rodhan's work to be a "timely new book" which "questions human authenticity, meritocracy, fairness, and the norms and regulations which will be required to guide our future course". He sets out to investigate the nature and future of power in an "accessible, incisive and highly provocative" way, and, by considering the basic and fundamental neurochemistry of power, discusses how power can be used for "the improvement of human life rather than its destruction".
