For space science people, this book is a platform to discuss the subconscious philosophical and ethical implications of their research that have been in the back
of their minds while researching. For philosophers and non-specialists, it is an opportunity to learn together and struggle to find solutions for the philosophical and ethical quandaries that space science, exploration and technology present to humanity. For those who feel uncomfortable writing outside their normal science discourse, editorial assistance will be provided. Inversely, for those outside the science community, scientific and technological assistance will be provided.
There is a corresponding conference being held 13th -14th October 2023 at Concordia University of Edmonton. Information may be found at https://sites.google.com/concordia.ab.ca/spaceconference/home?pli=1.
