Francesco Tonucci given UNICEF award

Francesco Tonucci, one of Vernon Press's authors, has been honored in the UNICEF Spanish Committee Awards 2019.

World-renowed thinker and psychopedagogue Tonucci was given the UNICEF Joaquín Ruiz-Giménez Spanish Committee Award "for his exemplary vital and professional career in defence of children’s rights". The committee was presided over by Queen Letizia of Spain. His achievement has been widely covered by the world media.

Tonucci's important work La Ciudad de los Niños will be published by Vernon Press in 2020 as City of Children. The work is being translated as part of Vernon's Bridging Languages and Scholarship initiative.
