Call for Book Chapters: "Women Empowerment: Best Practices to Inspire the World"

Vernon press invites book chapters for a forthcoming edited volume, Women Empowerment: Best Practices to Inspire the World, edited by Anita Brandon.

The Book will present an interested to scholars – best practices of women empowerment initiatives from across the World, covering different dimensions of the Subject, as listed in the proposed Themes of Chapters, which can include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Constitutional and Legal Provisions in different countries for Gender Justice and Gender Equality
  2. Removing Poverty among Women : Mobilizing Self Help Groups
  3. Bridging Gender Gaps in Development : Policies and Practice
  4. Securing Health, Well Being and Reproductive Rights for Women
  5. Educational Empowerment of Women for Breaking Gender Stereotypes
  6. Innovations for promoting Higher Education for Girls and Women, especially in STEM disciplines
  7. Training for enhancing Livelihoods and Employment Choices for Women
  8. Developing ‘Shepreneurs’ : Entrepreneurship among Women
  9. Improving Women’s Participation in Decision Making and Governance : At Local, National and Global Levels
  10. Enabling Reforms to ensure Women’s Participation in Social, Economic and Political life
  11. Creating Gender Friendly Policies, Services and Infrastructure for Promoting Gender Equality
  12. Eliminating Gender Discrimination, Gender Based Violence and Harmful Practices impeding Gender Equality
  13. Bridging the Digital Gender Divide: Promoting Digital Skills for Women & Girls
  14. Women Empowerment Initiatives through the Media : Efforts of Mass Media (Newspapers, Radio, Television) and Social Media
  15. SDG-5 for Gender Equality & Women Empowerment: Where do we Stand?
  16. Women’s Protests and Movements for Women’s Rights as Human Rights
  17. The Futures We Want : Promoting Gender Equality for upholding  Human Rights of Women and Girls

Please submit your Abstract of about 500 Words to Anita Brandon, the Editor, by October 15, 2023 at: anitadr27x7@gmail.com.

Additionally, please also send a short bio of the Author(s) of around 300 words. Authors of selected Abstracts shall be informed by November 15, 2023, and be requested for full paper submissions by March 8, 2024.
