Call for Book Chapters on Minorities of Central Asia
Vernon Press invites chapter proposals for a volume on “Minorities of Central Asia”, edited by Alena Zelenskaia and Concha Maria Höfler.
We are seeking chapters that deal with any of the following sub-topics along the theme of minorities in broader Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan):
- ethnic minorities
- gender and sexual minorities
- religious minorities
- people with disabilities
- minority languages
- social exclusion and discrimination
Academic papers in all fields of Humanities and Social sciences, including interdisciplinary research papers are welcome.
Deadline for proposals: August 15, 2019
Deadline for first drafts: December 31, 2019

Please submit one-page proposals including an annotated summary and a short biographical note.

A paper that has been published previously may not be included.
